  • In Between Two Worlds The City of Sydney's vision for Chinatown is to create a precinct which celebrates the unique character and heritage of Chinatown and creates more space for pedestrians, cyclists, public art and outdoor markets.

    Work to upgrade a number of laneways in Chinatown (Kimber Lane, Factory Street and Little Hay Street) aimed to make these streets pedestrian friendly, with fewer cars, better lighting, paving and more space for outdoor seating, and public art.

    Kimber Lane was transformed by Sydney artist, Jason Wing, whose attention grabbing artwork "In Between Two Worlds", spread across the pavement and walls, and overhead with catenary lighting 'spirit figures' cabled across the laneway.

    In Between Two Worlds is a striking installation that takes people on a journey as they walk through the laneway surrounded by glowing 'spirit figures' seeming to move between heaven and earth.

    This video demonstrates how this remarkable artwork came together and includes the artist and project team who made it happen.

    A food truck is a mobile eatery that travels to different locations in the city. A panel of food experts chose the successful operators in a selection process that included a cook-off challenge.

  • Exporttag 2011 AWO-WKO M`CAPS approached us to work on this years Award "Exporttag 2011" of the AWO/WKO. We broke with the classic 16:9 screen for a panoramic 4:1 using 3 projectors forming one screen. This wide-screen concept brought the stage-experience to another level.
